Six senses yao noi pool11/30/2023 ![]() The food at all the restaurants was excellent. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to get around the resort with her help. She also arranged for buggies (Golf Carts) to pick us up for dinner reservations and any time we had to be someplace at the resort. She managed all our reservations, spa appointments, and tours through Six Sense. Our GEM (Guest Experience Maker) Gwen was great. At first I thought the outdoor shower was strange but I used it when my wife was showering inside and we were pressed for time and actually thought it was nice and used it several times after that. ![]() The room has all the amenities you would expect with an indoor and outdoor shower. The villa is totally private with a pool about 4 feet deep and about 14 x 10 great to relax in. We had an ocean villa which had the most incredible view of the ocean. They really don’t have a dress code so you can go to any of the restaurants in shorts. The people in the resort are extremely friendly and there isn’t anything they won’t do for you. I highly recommend the in room BBQ the chief and a server comes to your room in our case we had them setup on our upstairs balcony which they did and they prepared our meal as we sat on the balcony enjoying the ocean view what a remarkably experience. ![]() We tried to take full advantage of all the experiences on the weekly list!! We have to go back to Thailand, and nearby and cannot wait to book our next trip to South East Asia.We had an ocean villa which had the most incredible view of the ocean. We did Muy Thai Boxing which was super fun and kayaking. Your whole body is really put into full relaxation with every little detail done so well and fulfilled. We’ve been continuously diffusing lemongrass to recreate the smells of Yao Noi and all those incredible little white towels they give you all the time. My passion for food and cooking has been reignited and I’m inspired to create and explore. We cooked Massaman curry for lunch with the spices we got from the resort, using their own recipe book! Our chef taught us nifty tricks to create full flavours and chopping methods. The cooking class was one of our highlights of the trip. The food.never have we been so filled with such delicious flavours. We felt so spoilt, pampered, relaxed and just at peace. The boat trip was unbelievable with the monkeys and the snorkelling and our guide was so nice! We had the same guide for both island outings, and the second day he brought us Yao Noi hats!! We are super grateful we got to go to the islands twice, because it was so magical and one of the biggest highlights. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly and helpful. An ideal choice for celebrating a special occasion or honeymoon. It boasts its own private cinema and a glass floor at the end of the king-size bed offers views of the waterfall cascading through the jungle beneath. Just 55 private pool villas are dotted throughout the resort, all very similar in style but each with a different perspective.
